BSIF Outstanding Contribution Award 2026
We are pleased to announce that our Founder & MD Natalie Wilson was awarded the British Safety Industry Federation (BSIF) Outstanding Contribution Award 2026 at this year’s BSIF NetworkingDay in recognition of her contribution to BS 30417 Provision of Inclusive PPE – Guide.
“It is well known that PPE is the last line of defence against workplace hazards for millions of workers across the UK and the globe. Good quality PPE that is correctly specified and sourced saves lives and is highly valued by employees. However, PPE must fit correctly if it is going to function as intended. Correct fit is a vital part of the specification. In a very diverse world it has historically been difficult to source PPE that fits everybody correctly. This has led to dangerous situations of some workers wearing PPE that is not fully protecting them or even adding new risks to their work. It has also led to the unfair exclusion of people from the workplace and in some cases unacceptable ridicule and bullying.
The BS 30417 Standard [….] was published in 2025. It provides practical guidance to employers and has had a huge impact on the awareness of this issue. Natalie Wilson (Workwear Solutions International Ltd) and Sara Gibbs (British Standards Institute) have been the driving forces behind the creation of this standard and it’s subsequent promotion creating important conversations and positive change within the safety industry. They have gone ‘above and beyond’ working tirelessly on this issue potentially benefiting millions of workers and the safety industry as a whole. The prestigious British Standards Industry Federation Safety Awards recognise excellence across the safety industry, celebrating outstanding customer service, product innovation, and, most importantly, contributions to improving occupational safety and health. This years’ winners were announced at the Safety & Health Excellence Awards.

BS Impact Award for Health, Safety & Wellbeing: Standards Makers 2026
We are proud to celebrate our Founder & MD Natalie Wilson, who has been awarded the BSI Impact Award for Health, Safety & Wellbeing.
Natalie was awarded the BSI Impact Award for Health, Safety & Wellbeing for her ‘extraordinary and transformative leadership of BS 30417, a landmark British standard that is already shifting industry practice, influencing government agendas, and shaping international standards development’. Her work continues to drive positive change across PPE, workwear and uniform programmes – improving safer and more inclusive outcomes for end users across multiple sectors.
